Nursing is a vast sector undergoing rapid change each year, with new government priorities on being responsive to individual patient needs and encouraging healthy lifestyles.  There are a wide range of courses covering topical issues as well as caring for a diverse range of patients’.

There are a great range of flexible courses on offer to give you a solid grounding in the theoretical and professional skills that are needed in the nursing field today.  You will cover a range of academic units which will equip you with the knowledge required to work in the Adult Nursing Field, as well as transferrable skills in clinical decision making, team working, problem solving and communication.

If you have been out of education for a while, you can work towards entry to a degree level course by studying an Access course in a variety of areas.  This will give you the confidence that you have the study skills needed at degree level as well as specific units.

You can progress from Access courses on to a variety of Foundation degrees, there are also a number of full degrees to choose from.

Courses can lead to a variety of careers in the Nursing sector such as Registered Nurse and Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Leaders, consultant and research roles.

Nursing graduates can choose a number of career progression opportunities in the NHS, private and voluntary sector.
