There are a wide variety of training opportunities available at higher levels at the five Somerset Colleges. Such breadth of range ensures that there is an appropriate way that you and your staff can engage in advanced learning. To decide the most suitable approach to training for you, our Business Development Consultants will work with you to develop a Training Plan.
You and/or your staff will have the opportunity to undertake a range of courses including full and part time degree courses, higher level apprenticeships and bespoke training. Learners are able to gain qualifications whilst continuing to work, minimising disruption to the workplace.
A range of higher education/degree courses are available. They are delivered on a part time or ‘blended learning’ basis. These courses start at specified times in the year and lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Regular study outside of taught sessions and attendance at college on a weekly basis is normally required.
